BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — The 2026 Midterm elections are in full swing as both the Democratic Nonpartisan League and the North Dakota GOP prepare for state party conventions, each slated for March. The Dem-NPL convention will take place first, slated to run from March 6 through March 8.

On Saturday, each of North Dakota’s two largest cities held district conventions in preparation for the state convention. Trygve Hammer, who ran for Congress in 2024, is seeking the seat once again.
